Identity Design

A client, Marcia Gibson came forward to engage myself and the company I work for to rebrand her counseling practice. This included the practice’s identity and logo, a website and all printed materials.

After initial discussions, I began the project by selecting palettes of colors that I felt best projected the message of support her practice was to convey. Once the colors were agreed upon I moved onto the letterforms and symbols that supported the same message. After a few rounds of layouts, we arrived at the new logo

With the logo and colors squared away I turned my attention to the website, first creating a site map, so as to achieve optimal communication flow. I then secured her a new URL, web host, and set up the office’s new email accounts.

I created multiple site layouts, per my usual, for her review. Once a look was decided upon I got to work back-filling all the necessary data and imagery. I brought in a photographer to shoot the practice’s team and the office facilities to be used on the site and all printed communication.

The work was very well received.
