PAINTINGS

I find painting to be a wonderful avenue to express my creativity. I enjoy working in acrylic on canvas mostly. My favorite subject is the human face but on a broader scale I enjoy the whole human form. I gravitate toward eccentric figures and found objects. My subjects usually start as photographs, either taken by myself or found photos from various sources. I paint what I see with touches of  “comic book” exaggeration in the features and colors. I strive to tell larger stories through my paintings.
